Vilém Smejkal is a student of the glass studio at UMPRUM. In his work, he focuses on conceptual objects with an occasional overlap with design and public space. Under the guidance of Ladislav Průcha, he studied the design of lighting features at the Secondary School of Arts and Crafts in Kamenický Šenov. He is often inspired by the virtual world and street art.
